Are you going to camp? Are you interested and want to know more? Please join us for an informational night about camp. We will share photo’s, map, what to bring and answer any questions you may have. If you are not registered, you are welcome to attend and learn more. June 14 at Snap office/Classroom at 5:30-6:30

| Parent Fundamental Classes
Snap will be offering a 4-part series of classes for parents this spring. Parents are welcome to attend all or just one class. Classes will include speakers, videos, hand-outs, and great information to support parents and families navigating the system, coping with planning for the future. This will also be a wonderful opportunity to meet other families.

Orchid-women’s group 10 a.m.-Noon Snap Classroom $30
Together we will provide an opportunity for women to come together as a group to learn, share, explore, and celebrate who they are as individuals. Through , hands-on activities, guest speakers, videos, role playing, group discussions, and art participants will practice throughout the quarter. Each week will consist of discussion and making healthy snacks. Focus on health, fitness, nutrition, money management, and friendship.
Pathway to Employment-positive work habits 3-5 p.m. Snap Classroom $5 This class is open to students & adults 16 years and older who are preparing to work, want to work, or have a job already. We will learn what makes an employer want to hire you, positive ways to behave in a job, and how to keep a job. This class will be fun and you will learn! Hands-on activities, hand outs, speakers, and video’s.

Theatre Arts & Talent Show ~ 10 a.m.-Noon ~ Presbyterian Church/PA $35
Led by Bonne Smith, Donna Morris assistant
It’s a hoot and a holler, a swinging, singing, dancing good time. Do you have hidden talents that are waiting to burst out? Do you enjoy singing or dancing or acting or just having fun? Do you play an instrument? Maybe helping with costumes and sets are your thing? Snap is excited to offer a talent show production with a community showing in June. All levels of interest and skill are encouraged. New openings available—no skill needed we have parts for EVERYONE!

All Ages Recreation Club for Adults/Middle & High School Students (14 yrs+) 3-5 p.m. Snap classroom $35
Led by Dena Schneider, Donna Morris assistant
Focus on having a great time and meeting new friends. Enjoy hands-on activities like arts & crafts, birthday bingo, games, music, skits, sports, and other fun activities.

EnterpriZe 3-5 p.m. Snap 10 Classes $30
Artisan workshops ~ where Snap participants are training to become artisans under the mentorship of Bonne Smith. The EnterpriZe Vision is to train and prepare artists by advancing their skill and knowledge under artisan mentors. The EnterpriZe Mission is to provide learning opportunities which can be used to create and market artisan products.
“Get Er Done.” Artist will complete all projects by June for the Lavender Festival, Clallam County Fair, and the September Art Show at the “BUZZ” in Sequim. The focus will be on producing products to sell and entrepreneurial skill development. Must already have project ideas and some skill level. Self-motivation and independence required. (no class on May 12)

Art Class ~ 12:30-2:30 p.m. Snap 10 Classes $35
Would you like to learn different creative techniques like mixed media with found objects, drawing, painting, silk dyeing, pottery, journaling, fabric painting, and collage work? Each week this class will practice with different kinds of artistic media. .Guest speakers will come in and talk about what inspires them to create. Art supplies are included in fee and class will also watch movies to learn about the creative process. (NO class on April 22, Earth Day)
Voyagers 3-5 p.m. Snap 10 Classes $30
“To Boldly Go” is the motto of Voyagers as instructor Bonne Smith assisted by Donna Morris lead students in an exploration of the world and universe through hands-on workshops in science and art.
This year the class is learning about the universe. A great opportunity to learn & explore science through hands on projects, movies, discussions, and art. We will be hands on with science this quarter—making volcanoes then pouring baking soda and vinegar in them to simulate lava flow. FUN! Hands on science lab about the stuff that makes up the Universe. Gases: helium, oxygen, hydrogen, Liquid: water, ice; Minerals: dirt, sand, pottery, glazes, and volcanoes. (NO class on April 22, Earth Day)

PROJECT Outreach 10-Noon In the field 10 Classes $30
As a group we will go out into the community to do service projects. Use your hands to do good work for the community. The MORE you GIVE the more you get! Our Recreation leader Dena is working on finding 4 on-going sites that we can go to and be of service—help keep a community flower garden, work at a food bank, help with animals, maintain a stretch of road. This will be a fun group that GIVES BACK with their heart! First class on April 9 will be held at the Snap classroom.
Bowling Club 1:30-3:30 p.m. Laurel Lanes- Port Angeles 10 classes $50
(includes payment for lane fees)
Each Friday we will bowl at Laurel Lanes. We know you love it! See you there?

This group’s motto is “Get it Done” ! Helping Hands works together to help support Snap activities through planning and input and facilitation. Helping hands will work on the dances, Irrigation Parade, camp planning, Appreciation Dinner, and Lavender festival. Must be willing to work and go the extra mile.
