Winter 2010 ~ Snap offers fun interactive activities four days a week in our Sequim classroom, The First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. 8th Street in Port Angeles. Participants fees are $30 per 10 classes offered quarterly.

| Monday: Safe & Strong |

Safe and Strong: Meets 3:30-5 p.m. Mondays in the Snap classroom
led by Jenell DeMatteo
Jan. 11, 25, Feb. 8, 22, March 8, 15, 22 (7 Classes) ~ $25
Do you want to: learn how to be safe on the bus? Safe with your wallet? Know what to do if the police approach you? How to report an assault? How to avoid scams? This class will get you thinking about how to protect yourself at home and in the community. We will have fun role playing and practicing what we learn. Don’t miss this important class!

Jan. 12, 19, 26, Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2,9,16 (10 Classes) $30
Do you have hidden talents that are waiting to burst out? Do you enjoy singing or dancing or acting or just having fun? Do you play an instrument? Maybe helping with costumes and sets are your thing? Snap is excited to offer a talent show production January –June with a community showing in June. All levels of interest and skill are encouraged. This class will continue through the spring quarter.

Adult Rec. Club for 18 yrs and older ~ 1-3 p.m. in the Snap classroom
Led by Dena Schneider, Donna Morris assistant
Jan. 12, 19, 26, Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2,9,16 (10 Classes) $30
Focus on having a great time and meeting new friends. Enjoy hands-on activities like arts & crafts, birthday bingo, games, music, skits, sports, and other fun activities. Additional fees will be required for bowling & any other field trips. Field trips will be announced as class goes on.
Rec. Club for Youth-Middle & High School Age students ~ 3-5 p.m. in the Snap classroom

Artisan workshops where SNAP participants are training to become artisans under the mentorship of Bonne Smith. The EnterpriZe Vision is to train and prepare artists by advancing their skill and knowledge under artisan mentors. The EnterpriZe Mission is to provide learning opportunities which can be used to create and market artisan products.
Class starts Jan. 12 from 3~5 p.m.
Age: 18 years and older
Fee: $30 quarterly - 10 classes

Art Class ~ Exploration of art: watercolors, crayon, pencil, chalk and acrylic painting; jewelry and beading; pottery and ceramics; collage and mixed mediums offering participants the freedom to create.
Class starts January 13 from 10 a.m~ Noon
Age: 18 years and older
Fee: $30 quarterly - 10 classes
“To Boldly Go” is the motto of Voyagers as instructor Bonne Smith assisted by Donna Morris lead students in an exploration of the world and universe through hands-on workshops in science and art. The interactive projects provide participants with opportunities for expression and questioning.
Class starts January 13 from 3~5 p.m.
Age: 18 years and older
