Each year SNAP has been able to grow and reach further into our community providing services and opportunities. Our dedicated volunteer staff and local sponsors are several of the ways which SNAP has been able to continue this growth. Many moments of little steps which become big success stories have been made possible because of their ongoing support.
Volunteers provide crucial supports in our afternoon programs which meet 4 times each week.
We are in great need of more volunteers. Our most urgent need is for mentors and supports in our afternoon programs.
Our participants are eager to meet new people and make you feel welcome. You can't help but want to come back!!
You can help us achieve more by volunteering. Some of the ways individuals may help are:
- Mentoring and support during our afternoon programs.
- Serving on a committee (fundraising or event planning)
- Helping Hands - volunteer teams help with other non-profits and community events
- Office help - answering phones, doing general clerical
- Mentoring and resource coordination for families
Please contact us if you want to find out more about our volunteer opportunities.
All of our volunteers undergo yearly background checks through
Washington State Department of Health & Human Services
